PROCESS

At Acacia Landscapes & Pool Construction, Our end-to-end service allows you to enjoy the process without the hassle. We cover everything, including site visits, professional construction and complete project management—so you can enjoy the process without the hassle. We have summarised our process in a few steps below to help you understand what we willl do, and what happens between having that initial dream and taking your first swim in your own custom oasis.

01. consultation & design

The initial phase is design and consult.

A consultant from Acacia Pools, along with an architect, will meet with you on-site to discuss your needs. An obligation-free quotation will be prepared for you outlining each phase of the project and its associated costs.

Once this is all confirmed, the design will go through the building consent application - approximately 28 days (depending on the council and circumstances).

02. EXCAVATION

Once your design has been confirmed excavation will commence on-site. This process usually takes somewhere between 1 – 3 days to complete depending on the size of your pool.

03. THE BUILD

This process will have different methods depending on the type of construction (i.e. concrete blocks or shot concrete) but essentially this covers the main construction phase of the pool.

Our team come in and fine tune the diggings, tie reinforcing steel as per engineers plan, pour the concrete floor, then lay blocks to form steps, walls etc as per plan and fit the hydrostatic valve in the floor.

04. EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION

This step covers installation of all of the systems that control your pool, such as filtration and heating sytems, as well as the lighting and any additional features your design includes.

05. FINISHING

The final aesthetic touches to your pool are made, depending on your design, this may include the finishing tiles, Diamond Brite application, acid wash. Once these are complete the pool is able to be filled and the water levels balanced.

06. HANDOVER

Our team will run the final tests on the pool’s filtration, heating and cleaning systems. Then, the handover process begins, which includes providing instruction on how to handle your pool maintenance. Congratulations! You can take for your first swim!
